Is there continuity between Mario Brothers and Super Mario Brothers? Why do people (usually male, Vietnamese people) drive around in crappy trucks filled with corrugated cardboard and where are they going? What exactly is the difference between Oreo and Hydrox Cookies? Who would win a fight between crusty hippies and thugs? What is the best way to drink in the middle of the day and not lose your shit?

If you've ever asked yourself any of these questions - and who hasn't - or you would simply enjoy a non-pompous and deliciously dorky discussion of the shit that happens in our crazy world, then you should check out Jordan, Jesse, Go! on Itunes or on the Jordan, Jesse, Go! website.

Now, podcasts are a dime a dozen these days, but Jordan Morris (Boy Detective) and Jesse Thorn (America's Radio Sweetheart and the host of The Sound Of Young America which you may have heard on your local Public Radio Affiliate) offer a truly irreverent, witty, and interesting take on life's little lessons, the insanity of popular culture, and whether it would be worse to have sandpaper hands, or only be able to hunt and gather your food.

I could go on and on, because these two have created probably the perfect podcast for anybody really, but especially for those of us who wish This American Life was just a bit less buttoned-up, or that Adam Carolla didn't sound so much like a grumpy dad. But even though there's an the off-the-cuff, anything goes feel to this podcast Jordan and Jesse really know their shit, they've been making Jordan, Jesse, Go! since 2006 so there are over 100 episodes for your aural pleasure. Also included, a really active online community with message boards and real live audience participation (if you're into that sort of thing).

But even if you never type a word on the message board, Jordan, Jesse, Go! makes you feel like you're sitting in a friend's living room involved in one of those amazing discussions that jump from topic to topic but wind up making perfect sense. I could could continue with how my ears literally crave the lilting theme song, and how my heart jumps every time I see a new podcast has been released, but really - the best way to experience the magic that is Jordan, Jesse, Go! is to pick a podcast and start listening. Try this one on for size, and enjoy!
