For Zachary "Ulysses Campbell" Wilson, recording music is a labor of love. Like many self-taught musicians before him since the advent of home recording technology, Ulysses utilizes an 8-track to record, edits with freeware and plays shows whenever a party is happening. And since Ulysses is so staunchly independent - giving away his four self-released, self-produced albums for free while refusing to sign to a record label - it's clear he might want the fame but could care less about the money.

His standout track "Dinosaur Hunting" is a fun, strange trip that begins with a lo-fi folk feel ala Mt. Eerie until midway through when the song switches gears with pulsing effects and serious beat that never obscures the strength of the core melody.
