Tim Burton has so much going on right now we thought it best to pile all the information into one post.

First, The Museum of Modern Art is exhibiting a retrospective of Tim Burton’s artwork through April 26, 2010, which is spread throughout the museum, focuses on the director’s 14 feature films and offers drawings, paintings, photographs, sketchbooks, props, and short films that have never previously been exhibited. Spanning a lifetime of creativity – from his teenage drawings and college films to character sketches from his upcoming Alice in Wonderland movie – it’s all the Tim Burton one could ever want.

Check out Burton’s exhibition via MOMA’s interactive site found here (requires Flash and Acrobat Reader)

Speaking of Alice and Wonderland, have you seen the second trailer for Burton’s take on the classic tale out March 5, 2010? It’s much better than the first.
And finally, just for fun, we’ve thrown in Vincent, the first stop-motion animation created by Tim Burton in 1982. And by the looks of it, Burton is expanding upon the same characters and themes he started with 27 years ago.
